Originally from the prairies, Kristi spent most of her adult years in Vancouver, where she completed her Bachelor of Science at Simon Fraser University in 1999 and went on to complete her Bachelor of Laws at the University of British Columbia in 2008.

After articling at an intellectual property law firm, Kristi practiced corporate/commercial law at a business boutique firm in Vancouver before moving to Whitehorse in 2015 in search of the small-town, close-to-nature lifestyle.  In Whitehorse, Kristi practiced corporate/commercial law for various clients including self-governed First Nations, wills and estates, and trademark law.

Kristi has returned to city life and is looking forward to re-settling in Calgary.  Joining KH | Dunkley in July 2022, Kristi’s practice focuses on business law including the purchase and sale of private businesses, business start-up and franchising, corporate re-organizations, leasing, and advising on matters in areas including employment law and intellectual property law.

Kristi is also a registered trademark agent and can assist with the filing and prosecution of trademark applications in Canada and international applications under the Madrid Protocol.

In her spare time, Kristi enjoys outdoor activities, such as hiking and running, learning Spanish and Latin-style dancing, and spending time with her 2 energetic children.
