Two Lawyers in Our Firm Named to Executive for Canadian Bar Association

As an example of our strong commitment to pro bono work, giving back to our community and staying on the leading edge of the law, KH/Dunkley Law Group is proud to announce that two lawyers in our firm have been elected as members of the Executive Committee for the Canadian Bar Association – Residential Real Property South Section (the “CBA Section”).

The CBA Section is an association of the leading Alberta lawyers in the area of residential real estate.  It is a network of lawyers that practice in this area who come together to discuss best practices, changes in the law and it is a think tank for improving legal services for Albertans.  The CBA Section works cooperatively with many industry stakeholders, such as the Calgary Real Estate Board, the Real Estate Council of Alberta, the Alberta Real Estate Association and the Law Society of Alberta.

Khalil Haji of our firm has been elected as Chairman of the CBA Section for a two year term.  Khalil has been involved with the Executive Committee for several years, having just finished a two year term as Secretary/Treasurer.  Khalil also acted as interim Chairman for one year while the existing chairman was away on maternity leave.

Fanny Tam of our firm has been elected as the new Secretary/Treasurer of the CBA Section for a two year term.  Fanny has been a member of the CBA Section since becoming a lawyer and her new role exemplifies her continued commitment to this group.

Please contact KH/Dunkley Law Group to discuss how our leading lawyers can assist you with all of your real estate legal needs.
