Khalil is the principal lawyer of KH | Dunkley Law Group.

He graduated as a gold medallist from the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business and obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2007.

After he graduated from the University of Western Ontario, he practiced law at national firms in both Calgary and Toronto. He opened his own firm, KH Law, in 2010, where he practiced until forming what is now KH | Dunkley Law Group.

Khalil is experienced in all areas of the law serviced by KH | Dunkley Law Group, with extensive experience in residential and commercial real estate transactions, commercial financing transactions, development and condominium law, mobile home transactions, leasing, purchases and sales of businesses, contract drafting, and wills and estate administration.

Travis received his Bachelor of Management (with distinction) from the University of Lethbridge in 2008 before attending law school at the University of Calgary, where he graduated in 2012.

Prior to joining KH | Dunkley Law Group, he practiced law at the Calgary office of a leading national law firm, focusing primarily on financial services and commercial real estate. Travis has extensive experience acting for borrowers, financial institutions, surety companies, and private lenders and regularly advises clients on a wide range of transactions from deposit insurance protection facilities to syndicated credit facilities.

In his real estate practice, he has experience acting for purchasers and vendors concerning the disposition and acquisition of real estate assets and for landlords, tenants, and brokers concerning leasing arrangements. Travis also regularly represents buyers and sellers of residential properties.

In addition, Travis has experience in various corporate and commercial matters, including sales of private businesses and corporate governance issues.

Tariq graduated from the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business in 2014 and obtained his Bachelor of Laws with Second Class Honors from the University of Leicester in 2017. Tariq further obtained his Master of Laws in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in 2018. 

After receiving his Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation in 2018 and completing his articling, Tariq was called to the Alberta Bar in 2020 and began practicing law at a local firm in Calgary and joined the KH | Dunkley legal team in September 2021.

Tariq has garnered experience in personal injury law, civil litigation and family law but has focused his current practice at KH | Dunkley Law Group in residential and commercial real estate transactions as well as corporate law.

Outside the office, Tariq is an avid hockey player and Calgary Flames fan and can also be found hiking, biking, or on the ski hills.

Stephanie received her Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Calgary in 2005 and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Calgary in 2010.

Her primary areas of practice include corporate law, residential and commercial real estate, and wills and estate administration. Stephanie advises clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including incorporations, business purchases and sales, business financing, negotiating and drafting commercial agreements, unanimous shareholders agreements, and employment agreements.

She is experienced in all matters regarding real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, and commercial leasing. Further, Stephanie regularly assists clients in negotiating and completing cohabitation agreements, prenuptial agreements, and uncontested divorces.

Stephanie strives to provide her clients with timely, practical, and cost-effective advice. Her experiences in family law and civil litigation prior to joining KH | Dunkley Law Group gives Stephanie a unique perspective in advising clients with a view toward avoiding, mitigating, managing, and responding to risks.

Fanny’s practice focuses mainly on residential and commercial real estate, wills and estate administration, and corporate law. She has extensive experience assisting clients in purchasing and selling real estate, obtaining grants of probate and administration, drafting wills and other estate planning documents. Her goal is to ensure that her clients are always informed of the process and the information required to make decisions best suited to their situation.

Fanny received her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Calgary in 2009 and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2013. She completed her articles with KH/Dunkley Law Group in 2014 and remained with the firm until 2017, when she took some time off to grow her family. Fanny has since returned to the firm to resume her practice and mainly works out of our satellite offices.

Fanny also serves as a director on several boards including the Association of Women’s Lawyer for Calgary and engages in activities with different organizations that focus on empowering women.

Outside of her law practice, Fanny and her husband are busy raising their two young daughters and their sheepadoodle, Pinot, while also striving to one day be an avid golfer.

THE HONOURABLE MICHAEL C. DUNKLEY (Retired) opened his own firm, Michael C. Dunkley Law Office, in 1983 and soon became one of Calgary’s leading real estate lawyers, with a particular specialization in residential and commercial development, subdivisions, and financing. Michael retired from active practice in October 2014.

Grace Fasehun joined the KH Dunkley team in September 2022, with both Canadian and international legal experience. Prior to being called to Alberta Bar in 2019, Grace achieved her Bachelors degree and her LLB internationally and practiced in a common law jurisdiction following her call to the Bar in 2006. She went on to obtain her MBA from the Blekinge Institute of Technology in Karlskrona, Sweden before moving to Canada.

Grace has substantial experience in Residential and Commercial Real Estate. She also regularly acts on behalf of financial institutions, private lenders and corporate borrowers in connection with secured and unsecured financing transactions. She appeared before the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of King’s Bench in Alberta, and the Administrative Court for Family Law matters and Immigration. 

Grace is a results-oriented and client-focused lawyer with a reputation for excellence who has the ability to adequately adapt to all her clients’ legal needs. Whether her clients are buying a place they can call home or a commercial property for business, she is right there with them to help navigate the entire journey from beginning to end.

Outside the office, Grace volunteers as a Mentor with the Calgary Region Immigrant Employment Council and Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association. When she is not helping her clients achieve their dreams, she is travelling and spending time with her family.
